The Carillion Office Park streetlighting program was created with the gulf coast breezes in mind. Working with square aluminum tubing, an open lattice design allows hurricane-force winds to pass through, yet maintaining an interesting silhouette and profile against the sky. The design of the street lamps also was applied to building signage and other landscape features.
