Life Flight was founded in 1976, by Dr. Red Duke, as the first helicopter ambulance service in the country. The service operates 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, and is headquartered at the Texas Medical Center. The Campaign for Life Flight was initiated by the Memorial Hermann Foundation to raise $40 million to expand and enhance the fleet. Using an existing wall, DSIGNAGE created, administered, and oversaw the implementation of this important donor recognition.
