When the 2014 National LGBTQ Task Force announced their "Creating Change" conference was to take place in Houston, it was decided by leaders in the community to create a "pop-up museum" of colorful banners. What began as 27 banners, has grown to over 50 individual images that relate the highlights and timeline of Houston's LGBT history from the 1930s to the present day.
